Edo Heyns, winemaker, blogger and deputy editor at
Wynland/Wineland, is currently doing his MBA thesis on the relevance of the
'greening' in wine marketing. Edo was recently declared runner-up at the Franschhoek Literary Festival Wine Writer of the Year function.
Says Edo:
The wine industry has done significant work to improve its
green credentials, but limited information is available about green consumer
preferences in the wine market. In order to effectively market environmentally
friendly or sustainable initiatives and products, a clearer understanding of
the relevance of greening in wine marketing is required.
Edo is conducting a
consumer study to establish the relevance of different green certifications and
practices to the consumer. The survey consists of only 31 questions and will take
less than 10 minutes to complete.
This is a good chance to both show and express your green credentials, or a good chance to start!
Participants stand a chance of winning one of three cases of Villiera Tradition Methóde Cap Classique (MCC). Villiera just won the Old Mutual Trophy for best MCC.
The contact information obtained though this research will
not be distributed and will only be used for the lucky draw.
